Louis Vuitton black satin flats

Te beauty about having small feet is that gorgeous designer shoes sell for real cheap on eBay – simply because most people aren’t that size. So whilst I hate shopping offline for shoes (really expensive and they never have my size!), online shopping is a whooooole different ballpark – it’s blimmin’ amazing! You’re spoilt for choice on eBay with any brand you want, and it’s all a fraction of retail simply because no one’s buying them in that size πŸ˜›

So I bought a pair of Louis Vuitton black satin flats. I’ve been slowly converting my shoe stash to flats, because of my bad knee (I always feel like a doddery old lady when I say this!), and selling off my heels, only keeping a few pairs I truly love. These flats are divine and you know what? They were $150!!! In Australia, that same money buys you a pair of good leather flats from a random store.. yet on eBay I can buy an authentic pair of Louis Vuitton for the same price. And people wonder why I like eBay so much……….

The flats fit like a charm and have the cutest pink interior and soft satin exterior. I like how the “LV” monogram is also black so it isn’t loud – no one will know it’s Louis Vuitton, which is a good thing. And the metal plate read “Louis Vuitton” embossed into the silver – too cute πŸ˜› And to compensate for this little splurge, I’m selling 2 pairs of Coach shoes on eBay sometime this/next week. Also listed a bunch of Alannah Hill and whatnot on eBay yesterday so I hope it all sells well πŸ™‚

I’m very familiar with Louis Vuitton so I can identify counterfeits, especially if I see people carrying them on the street.I also prefer to buy from friends and legit sellers that I’m familiar with

that’s a great find! i used to ebay a lot, but after a lot of panic over authentic merchandise… i avoid ebay like the plague. i guess i just need to find genuine sellers that sell authentic stuff. πŸ™

If you know the brand really well, it’s super easy to buy online. I love it because in Australia, the stores really jack up all the prices πŸ™

I like ’em cos they’re still feminine looking, some ballet flats I’ve seen look too round/square/chunky at the toe so they don’t look pretty anymore πŸ™

i love the shoes! what size feet are you? i have small feet as well, and it’s quite a pain shopping for shoes that fit.. πŸ™

(ooh.. i’ve just added you on facebook!)

I’m a size 5 so stores in Australia usually don’t stock mysize.. and on eBay they’re all super cheap cos no one really buys that size either. Y ay!

Ahh PayPal is a god send, without it it’s impossible to buy or sell online! Well, not safely anyways.. eBay’s really easy to start buying/selling, I always cruise the site when I’m bored and end up finding something I’ll buy. Haha!

that is gorgeous!!! i recently saw a pair of missoni ballet flats in hk but just cldn’t bear to splurge. you always get the best deals bev, lucky you! πŸ™‚

missoni is loooovely, the rainbow design totally appeals to me πŸ˜› But yeah, full price, it’s all a bit insane :X

A pair of Marc Jacobs shoes, Louis Vuitton coin pouch, Alannah Hill tops, pants, skirts, cardigan, etc. It’s mostly size 6 or 8!

I’m too scared to start internet shopping, because it would be SO convenient. You don’t have to leave your house! :o) So until I’m earning a proper income (not just part time pay while I’m still studying) I feel it’s best to stay away!
Those shoes are so cute! Such a good price for LV! They sell crappy RMK type stuff for half that price, but it’s RMK! I’m sure your ones will last a lot longer and be better quality which is really important for ballet flats. I’ve worn through about 4 or 5 pairs in the past year just because they’re not a very durable style…

Haha yes, it’s incredibly addictive. I first started as a student because there were such great bargains on luxury goods and new stuff, otherwise I’d go broke buying it from stores at full retail, since Australia jacks up all the prices. I hope these shoes last!

the thing is, im always worried about the fakes out there, how do you spot them when you shop on ebay?!

also, my first exam is on WED, so sorry cannot do the shopping experiment.. altho i would LOVE to skip the exam and go shopping! πŸ™‚

It’s mainly because I know the brand really well, and also I usually know the sellers- I won’t buy randomly online from random people.. and once you know, it’s really easy to buy authentic goods online πŸ™‚

Aww wish you coudl do the experiment! Next time πŸ™‚
