I’ve had one made. They had to make a mold of my teeth. Not a good experience.

Apparently it’s fast and the guard is really thin, so hopefully it won’t be too uncomfortable to wear :X

It’s the part where they pour stuff down your mouth to make the mold that’s uncomfortable! Wearing it is easy! 😛

oh, i’m sure ebay will pay for it. not that i know about your insurance, but from what you have described I’m sure their insurance rocks, too. Mine covers for most of mine when I get mine. I have done a number on my teeth. In fact, not knowing what I was doing when grinding, I chipped a back tooth and it developed into a cavity…which I didn’t catch in time. I will soon have to get a root canal and crown put on. Yuck. :p
PS: 145 lbs?? That seems high. :p Mine came out as 120…which I weigh MORE than. :p grr…

Oooo that’s scary, but yeah, my dentist warned me the same.. so that’s why I guess it’s worth the $$ to get a guard sooner than later. You should get yours fixed up soon too, just in case it gets worse!

I have a mouth guard! I have the same problem. A piece of my tooth fell off the other month because I forgot to wear it for a while.. It’s worth it!
Ouchhhhhh! I guess I better use mine then. Its just so yuck and I’m scared it’ll be uncomfortable :X

i have a mouth/teeh guard too. my teeth which are not large to begin with are very very small because they’re being grounded to nothing! scary. it takes a bit of getting used to though. mine wasn’t cheap. 850sgd and this was after my dentist gave me a bit of a “discount”

i never even knew that teeth coudl get grounded away, let alone that I was doing it! I hope it’s not TOO uncomfortable :X Does it last forever? For so $$ it shoudl!

haha! i did the first quiz and got personality as tops but no sense of humour! i mean.. they won’t even give me a little bit for that section.. meanies 🙁
anyway, i’ve heard that the mouth guard will kinda reshape your jaws and make your face appear smaller.. hmm.. so maybe you can do a post about it if it happens! 🙂

I’ve got barely any humor or intelligence, so I’m worse off 😛
Oooo I like the thought about my face being smaller!! *fingers crossed*

I have a night guard thingy! I think mine cost about 650 USD. It took some getting used to – it still causes me to drool in my sleep! It was worth it though.

Arghhh i don’t wanna drool! Haha, I hope i get used to it eventually 😛
