heheh, sounds like you prefer only to date guys that have had their “references checked” (so to speak).

I must’ve missed a whole bunch of your blog entries, what happened to you and Chris?

Yes very true!
Ahh we broke up around Jan I think? I wrote a post back then but now it’s all buried down many pages πŸ˜›

oh and i get asked out all the time by younger guys because i look so young!!

and i understand your hang-up about meeting guys in bars…but then i see friends who are happily married, or in relationships with great guys they met:) what ever you do, just go with your gut πŸ™‚

Hee, a bar; that’s how I met M! I sort of had that policy too, but I figure since we both got dragged out to the pub that night, it was OK!

A croissant for an egg ain’t a bad swap!

Haha really?! I’m too scared to date a guy I meet at a bar, cos I feel like he’ll be/act different than in real life. Arghhh I dunno, decisions are so hard sometimes!

Isn’t that all part of the dating fun? To find out who they really are??
Besides what’s the only way you can find out, I’m sure you know the answer??

True! But yeah, you gotta still be careful, I’m more wary of blokes at pubs. I guess you just have to assess the situation, how inebriated people are, that sort of thing; plus, I think you’d be a good judge of character!

Only if you had a baby when you were 4… πŸ˜›

Some 18 year old has been hitting on me at work, it’s disconcerting. He knows I’m 23 too, but that doesn’t seem to be a turn off!

You look great, sounds like you had a lot of fun. Is your neighbour cute? πŸ˜€

Maybe you’ll run into the cute again, outside the bar setting! That would be good πŸ™‚

A lot of guys prefer older women. I think it’s usually women who are in their mid-late 20s, but I guess if he’s only 18 then 23 is an alright place for him to start. πŸ˜›

Good luck on getting rid of him without making the situation even more awkward than it already is! πŸ™‚

Ya, I think as you get older, it’s okay to date a younger guy.. like if i was 29 and he was 27, i may not mind. But right now, it’s too weird!

Probably 25-35? Not sure, I’ve only ever dated guys who are pretty much exactly my age, so not sure how old/young I’d go!

haha that’s funny…i used to like Bungalow 8 a lot when i lived in New York…didn’t know they opened one in Sydney. apparently the one in London was a bit of a flop…oops!

Looks like you had a lot of fun!

I’m the same way about guys in bars. Maybe that’s why I’m single?

You’re looking hot in those pics!

soooo pretty!!! you guys are gorgeous and look like MODELS!

what’s the bar thing?! a cute guy is a cute guy after all πŸ˜›

Aww thank you! It’s really nice of you to say that πŸ™‚

Ahhh I don’t really think I could date a guy I’ve met at a bar. I feel like people act differently when they’re out clubbing? I’d prefer meeting a guy via a mutual friend or something!

That night looked and sounded mega fun. As for the guy, he could have been the guy of your dreams! You never know when you’re going to meet him (even at a bar)
