ooh, how does the oyster roulette taste like?
wish i’m there to go shopping too! all the make up and beauty products there… *sigh*

It tastes… raw, haha! It’s actually salty because of the sauce, and a bit fishy from the oysters. The egg doesn’t have a taste. OK i know it sounds really awful, but it’s quite nice! πŸ™‚

I think that UA’s business class gives better toiletries stuff than Northwest or KLM. For Northwest, the bag had the toothbrush plus teeny tiny toothpaste (kinda like a one day use), chapstick, eye shades, socks, comb and that was it. KLM’s was also similar – pretty lousy stuff however, KLM does give a really nice porcelain miniature house with brandy in it.

Bah! I can’t believe I live ten minutes away from blowfish on santana row and have yet to go there!!!

I will have to talk my friends into going with me, it looks absolutely amazing!

Haha! I just got back from CA today, and my family was telling me the same thing about In N Out! We didn’t have a chance to eat there this trip, though. Next time!

The pyramid was really interesting, the waitress smushed it all together with the spooon then we scooped it onto the potato chips. Cute!

Welcome to the Bay Area! There are some In & Out burgers near you e.g. in Milpitas, in Mountain View etc., don’t have to go all the way to Gilroy for your fix πŸ˜‰

I am sure you have alot of yummy eating places up your sleeves but if you have time, do go to Gochi (Cupertino) for great Jap food. They serve tapas style Jap food. They do require reservations. Another good option is Tanto (San Jose)! If you can get into Kaygetsu (Menlo Park), thst’s even better! Try opentable.com for reservations for Kaygetsu.

AND you must must must head over to R&G in SF for the yummiest salt & pepper crab, special beef etc.,

Let me know if you want any more reccs! Enjoy your trip!

Hehe we were at Gilroy so it was just right there, which was fortunate.

Someone confirmed that Tanto is great, so I’m keen to check it out and hopefully will. Thanks heaps!

Yay, In N Out! I eat there all the time! If you haven’t already you should also try Dick’s Drive In in Seattle, WA. I like their burgers better. =)
