Ya a one bedroom, and small, like 60 sqm or something. Where are you guys moving to? It’s a real headache moving so so satisfying afterwards 😛
We’re still gonna be at Rhodes, but a much much nicer and bigger 3 bedroom by the water. It would be nice to live in the city but not that viable for us coz too inconvenient for Merrill to drive to work plus parking/traffic is another problem. Also this will be a permanent move for the next 5-7 years at least since it’s our own place and we don’t exactly want to bring up kids in the city. We’ve been so busy shopping for new furniture coz we’re getting rid of the crappy ones and there’re heaps of other stuff to do like minor renovations. Can’t wait till it’s all over. You gotta come over when we have a house warming. 🙂
If you don’t mind me asking, the place that you are moving into, is it a rented place or you guys bought it? I am on the other end of Rhodes at the Olympic park. Rhodes apartments looks nice and expensive. =)
We’re currently renting but we bought the place that we’ll be moving into. Hey I’ll be able to see the Olympic Stadium from my new place! 🙂 To be honest, Rhodes apartments are very expensive considering it’s not that near the city but we do like the area and it’s a great location for my fiance who drives around the west for work.

I nearly got one at Miller’s Point just behind The Rocks, but chickened out cos the job wasn’t very secure then. Regret now that the job did become secure. Congrats on the new place, look forward to the pics soonish.
Ooo Miller’s Point is nice, I was contemplating that but it ended up being a bit too far from the City for me. Maybe you can look again? 🙂

I def will once I get the keys and move in! It’s just basic/normal looking but i’m SO glad it’s new/pristine.. a lot of the apartments in the city were so old and crappy looking :X

The new apartment sounds great! Is it a one bedder? We’re moving either late next month or early May as well and there’s so much to do. Arrghhh!!!!
Ya a one bedroom, and small, like 60 sqm or something. Where are you guys moving to? It’s a real headache moving so so satisfying afterwards 😛
We’re still gonna be at Rhodes, but a much much nicer and bigger 3 bedroom by the water. It would be nice to live in the city but not that viable for us coz too inconvenient for Merrill to drive to work plus parking/traffic is another problem. Also this will be a permanent move for the next 5-7 years at least since it’s our own place and we don’t exactly want to bring up kids in the city. We’ve been so busy shopping for new furniture coz we’re getting rid of the crappy ones and there’re heaps of other stuff to do like minor renovations. Can’t wait till it’s all over. You gotta come over when we have a house warming. 🙂
If you don’t mind me asking, the place that you are moving into, is it a rented place or you guys bought it? I am on the other end of Rhodes at the Olympic park. Rhodes apartments looks nice and expensive. =)
We’re currently renting but we bought the place that we’ll be moving into. Hey I’ll be able to see the Olympic Stadium from my new place! 🙂 To be honest, Rhodes apartments are very expensive considering it’s not that near the city but we do like the area and it’s a great location for my fiance who drives around the west for work.
