Liang Kee Teochew Restaurant
30 Robertson Quay
Singapore

Went to Liang Kee the night before the wedding, for some Teochew food. Over-ordered (as usual), but the food was terrific! They’re the best Teochew restaurant I’ve been to IMHO. Plus the service is friendly, which is unusual and a definite plus πŸ˜‰ I’ll let the photos speak for themselves..

Liang Kee Teochew Restaurant

Peanuts and assorted chilli

Ngo Hiang (some kinda Teochew-type sausage)

Sambal veggies

Oyster omelette – OMG.. the oysters were plump and perky and
tumbling out. It was divine!!

Braised duck and Tofu – their signature dish, soo good

Sweet & Sour Fish

Pork Ribs

Prawns with mayonnaise – mmmmm..

Steamed Fish Head

Or Nee (some kinda sweet yam dessert)

I think my parents were mentioning about this restaurant and said that they liked it. The oysters in that oyster omelette look so plump and juicy! I love all your food posts as it always makes me so happy!

I didn’t know they made sweet and sour fish, I’ve only ever had sweet and sour pork. I love the prawns in mayonnaise, but restaurants in Edmonton usually serve it with canned peaches.

Yeah they even have sweet and sour chicken – my fave’s the fish though, I like the pork but sometimes it’s so fatty and tough πŸ™

The oyster omelette looks so yummy! I haven’t had one in ages.

Wow, prawns with mayonnaise? First time I’ve seen or heard of such a dish.
