Beverly, you are such an inspirational woman! I am so proud of your accomplishments and they are putting you in this new position because they have SEEN what you are able to accomplish… I have no doubt that you will be able to do it all over again, only better this time… because you have all the experiences you have picked up along the way from working on Triton and you are a wiser person.

Wow, it sounds really exciting, and a great opportunity for you; though I’m sorry you won’t be with the same colleagues, it’s always hard to move departments after forming close ties with the people you’ve been working with.
I hope this is a great year for you, both work wise and in your personal life 🙂
It’s def tough to leave behind everyone I love.. but I hope my new team will be great 😀

If you ever need an idea of customer experience, you should chat with all the artists I know who sell on eBay through stores. There are good things, and bad things, I’m sure they’d love to relate lol Although I’m not sure if they count as customer or not..
‘Grats and good luck 🙂

Here’s what google dug up on project Triton.
The name of an internal project at eBay used to manage the company’s Pay per click keyword portfolios.
Triton initiative: eBay had put its keyword bidding process under a microscope to see if the company could deliver better value. eBay had been buying 1 million keywords per month last year (1Q05), this past quarter keywords bought numbered about 15 million. At the same time, cost per bid is down 74% year/year.

Cool. I just found out where the Ebay office in Singapore was last Friday when I parked right outside it. The parking lot was simply just waiting for me. And I was thinking to myself, that’s where Beverly would be working if she comes back to Singapore, and there you are writing about working there for a few weeks.
posted on February 19, 2007 at 9:44 pm
Hehe cool, I’ll be there on Fri and will probably pop into the office over the next 3 weeks 😀
Follow me on my adventures through Sydney, Shanghai, and now Singapore. We are all about eating fab food, dressing up, and finding cool things to do!
