MERRY CHRISTMAS everyone and Blessed Holidays! I’m wearing a Strawberry Shortcake tee today so I thought this graphic was pretty apt 😉 Hope everyone had/is having a wonderful Christmas with your friends and family.
I’m a bit lazy and didn’t take photos of my Christmas gifts.. and also gifts aren’t a big thing in our family, I personally feel it detracts from the true meaning of Christmas, and turns it into a really commercialised holiday which is a bit distasteful for me. So I prefer just small tokens, though having said that I do also sometimes go nuts – just depends, haha! I was proud of myself having planned and bought most of my Christmas presents about 2 months in advance.. I was super organised! I won’t list out everything I gave, but I got Dad Oroton cufflinks and Mum a family lunch at the French restaurant Au Jardin @ The Botanic Gardens.. though I have a feeling I’m the one that’s most excited about it – hee!
Some nice things I received:
Swarovski bracelet from my aunt
Nokia phone from mum and dad (in orange)
And a cool Samsung LCD TV and Digital Video Recorder! Which I’ll lug back to Australia… it’s been much anticipated and awaited as my current TV is dying on me.
Before Church Christmas service, we went to
Lunch was a banquet at the Shangri-La Hotel.. with ~1,000 people there. Whew! Couldn’t be bothered to take photos of the food, so I took a pic of the menu 😉 The star dishes were the Cod fish and Noodles – yum!! And the dessert buffet was amazing 😉

Could you help me out with a URL? I remember a long time ago you wrote about a service where you can get things shipped to a US address and they forward it internationally. What was that site? I’ve found a couple through Google but I’m not sure if they’re any good.
It was shopthestates.com but I think they’ve now closed down 🙁

A mobile phone with a 2MP camera doesn’t really take excellent quality pics, but it’s still pretty good. I have a Nokia phone with a 2MP camera too, and I can take decent quality pics every now and then when I’m too lazy to bring a digicam. But you should check out the N73 and N93 phones, which both have a 3.2MP camera with Carl-Zeiss lens. I’m eagerly waiting for the launch of N95 in 2007. That phone has a 5MP camera! Soon enough we wouldn’t need a digicam anymore =)
yeah I’m using my phone as a backup if I forget my digicam.. really pleased with it!
