OMG i have to get myself down to cosmo shoes! usually the SA’s are too nasty and the sales not *that* good to bother, but if you’ve witnessed $200 manolo’s im there!
if you’re ever wanting cheap + good salt and peper squid you know where to find it- Kingsford chinese! 😉

I was just saying that to Chris as we were eating! I really want to try Kingsford Chinese’s version now 😛 Never had it before..

hey~ do you have a pic of the scarf?
ive been dying to get a scarf this winter and i usually get the brands like mooks or cutesy ones like paul frank. but no1 stocks scarves this winter!!!
i really want a rainbow one too!
so i figured i may as well splurge hahaa..
also, have you tried the squid at the night markets in chinatown friday nights? the last time i had it.. it was pretty gooood :9

I don’t 🙁 I couldn’t find a pic of it online either! It’s a solid black with skinny lines across it in different shades of the rainbow – i really like it as I can match it with literally any coloured outfit. But its totally unavailable 🙁
which stall should I try the squid at?? I bet it’ll be cheaper than Szechuan Garden too, so keen to try it!

The east garden restaurant stall. or another one close to it. lol.
and it costs like.. 8-12$!!
Yeah I’ve tried searching it up online.. but can’t find~ Oh Well. Scarfless this Winter… 🙁
I want new shoes too! lol. But I’m so far in debt from skipping work due to uni exams I’ve forced myself not to go shopping until I work again.
BUT I saw these Chinese Laundry hot pink kitten heels on ebay~ and.. i want i want!

if you go to the Christensen Copenhagen store, they have the larger version – you might like that more 🙂
Ahhh shoe shopping on eBay is dangerous – everything’s so cheap and it’s so easy to buy that I can go crazy 😉

i love salt & pepper squid! $21.90? that is a bit pricey..
you shopaholic didnt end up buying any shoes from a sale? *wow 😛
I normally don’t like it as I’m scared it’ll be tough, but this was SO NICE!
Heh yeah, I was just too overwhelmed…. regret it now tho ;(

Eeks! Did they have plenty of small sizes (size 5-6)?
posted on June 27, 2006 at 9:38 pm
YES!!!! They had my size and I was sooo tempted, they had ballet flat Jimmy Choos, pumps, slingbacks, sparkly Jimmy Choos, etc.. it was INSANE. But they’re selling out real quickly since the prices are so crazy. There are some $400 too, the more fancy ones, which is still a deal since their retail is higher!

One of my favorite things is bacon, egg, and cheese on a biscuit with a smear of strawberry jam. It’s so yummy.
Ooo i’ve never tried that combo either. I think the salty & sweet flavours go real well together 🙂

You didn’t buy any shoes? Have you gone mad?!?!
posted on June 27, 2006 at 9:39 pm
I know… REALLY regret it now. I was just feeling so totally overwhelmed I wasn’t sure what to do, and in the end i got scared, haha! I really wanted to buy 10+ pairs and burn all my savings 😛

Your morning before work sounds divine shopping and coffee – my idea of heaven.

I wish I could do it at least twice a week before work! It’s just so relaxing instead of trying to rush into work early every day :X

My hubby was looking over my shoulders when I was reading your entry and said, “God this girl should just go and work in a food magazine doing reviews lah, she’s always writing about food!!” *grin* So if ever you decide to consider a career change…. 😛

Heheheh I like your hubby! I would love to do that, or host a food show.. but ahhh , you really need contacts etc to break into an industry like that – it’s too hard and not much $$ in it, I think 🙁
posted on June 28, 2006 at 7:46 am
ahh.. I totally know what you mean bout the salt and pepper squid! When they are good, they are scrumptious, but when not, quite tough and yucky =p
I can’t believe you didn’t get the shooooooeeeeessss!!!
posted on June 28, 2006 at 9:57 am
Heh yeah, that’s why I daren’t take the risk.. and I never really thought I’d like the flavour anyway!
