Haha yeah, I don’t know anyone whose charity donations match the same $$ they spend on themselves, so it doesn’t make me feel terribly guilty. Most people won’t consider $600/month to charities very much to them; but it is for me (ie. I didn’t even donate half that when I was a poor student), so I’m satisfied!
You’re quite right… I try and donate about 10% of what I earn, and it’s not nearly that much. I didn’t mean you weren’t spending a lot… I just meant that it’s probably not the charities that are sending you broke!!
Ideally we should all donate ALL the $$ that we don’t need, to people that need it more than us. But that’s a perfect world, and pragmatically it just doesn’t happen ‘cos we’re inherently greedy and want the $ to ourselves – so sad, but true, haha! But as long as we’re happy with our contribution, I think it’s OK.. 🙂

Bev, I think that you should definitely get the turquoise. But I really must warn you- turquoise is my absolute favorite color right now and I love it on everything. So for me… turquoise + Balenciaga = no question about it- GET IT!!! And I’m fairly close to the San Francisco store :X Actually, I think at the moment I’m saving up for a huge LV spree. I need an actual wallet, special order my damier pochette, damier speedy in the summer, and maybe the sunglasses that are coming here in 2 weeks. I am soooo excited. So much for my Chanel quest 😉
