SUCCESS!! Bwahaha! Cooked up the Prima Taste Satay sauce for dinner and it turned out really well.. totally different to the weird ‘peanut-butter’ satay sauce that they always have serve in cafes/restaurants. This sauce was dark, potent and spicy – EXACTLY what satay is meant to be :)~ I even served it with red onions and cucumber, the authentic way. No Ketupat though, instead I had it with Hainanese chicken rice. It was deeeeeeeeeeeelish! Really really really nice and satisfied my craving for authentic satay. Will definitely buy the sauce again. I like how it’s not just a stir-in sauce.. it comes with 3 sachets – 1 for marinating the chicken, 1 for basting it whilst grilling, and 1 for the dipping sauce.

Totally random dinner tonight – instant Singapore noodles with an egg on top,
chicken nuggets, Chinese dumplings… with garlic ginger chilli sauce

Baked tonight too! Made malt & chocolate cookies…. mmmmmmmmmm :)~

Cooooooooooooooookiessssss

How do you manage the time to cook after work? And energy too! πŸ˜› I’m usually beat by the end of the day.

It’s def tiring! I normally don’t cook at all, but trying to these days as I do actually like cooking, just don’t often have the time to..

Yeah it’s heaps cheaper but depends if you want to factor in cooking/cleaning time or not πŸ˜› Generally I’d rather eat out if it’s fairly authentic too, but I haven’t yet found authentic satay πŸ™

I really like cucumber, which is weird coming from someone that hasn’t eaten veggies for 20years in her life.. but it’s nice and juicy, I’m glad I ‘discovered’ it, even though it was only a year ago, heh! πŸ˜›

Oh poooo they don’t? Not even in the Asian supermarkets? I found mine there! They’re more $$ than regular sauces but are sooo worth it

Just wanted to let you know that they do carry Prima sauces here in Melbourne as well. Only selected Asian marts though. Laguna in the city near QV has them. For other locations, you can check them out here. HTH! πŸ™‚

Heh. Prima Taste is dope huh? πŸ˜›
And yes, instant noodles should be eaten with a sunny side up done just like that. The yolk breaks.

YES! I either have my noodles with soup with an egg cracked in it and swirled around gently.. or dry, with a sunny side up with a gooey center. YUM

It was an instant mix from the supermarket! It’s called “malt & chocolate cookies”. Really like it as it’s sooo easy to make and the cookies are really fudgy, yum :)~
