There was an awesome april fools joke on Triple J. Man it was great.
Oooooooo what was the joke? I LOVED the Google Romance joke, I fwded it to everyone @ my office 😉
They told everyone it’s ‘Urban Month’ and that they’ll be playing nothing but hip hop til the end of the month. Then they said it was as a result of focus groups the station has conducted and part of the new strategic direction the station is taking, and that it will be completed by September 2007 😀 And all the presenters/news broadcasters kept using as much ghetto speak as they could think of. Heaps of callers were calling up and complaining because they just kept playing hip hop over and over, and everytime someone complained on the phone, the presenter would say something like ‘you enjoying the hip hop? Just representin’ the boys from the hood’ over what the callers were saying. It was hilarious! But I don’t know how they ended it because I had to work 🙁
What was the google romance joke?
Oh haha that’d be so annoying it’ll be funny 😛

Gorgeous, but you know, I have a phobia for patent leather cos I always worry that I will SCRATCH it! *grin* Esp with two small kids! Aiyoh! So my bags are almost always a textured leather!
I know what ya mean.. this is super sturdy though – I’m not all that careful with the accessories and all of them are in perfect mint condition. But the light-colored versions get colour transfer pretty easily :X

I was a student recently too! Only a little over 2 years ago.. so I’m VERY familiar with the student lifestyle, hehe.
Almost everyone I know says being a student’s way better than working life.. but I think the exact opposite – student life was horrific for me, having to study and do assignments with no purpose, uck 🙁
Working life is fun, you’ll love it! And GOOD LUCK with your finals 🙂
