There is a guy who set up a site called Acne.org and what he suggests really worked for someone i know. I even do alot of the things now when I have a bad breakout… Its a very involved site with lots of info and even has videos on how to wash your face – how to put the creams on and stuff…

Couldnt hurt to look and see if you could institute some of it

Yeah… yay!! It’s been so mad this week. We’re going to Darling Harbour on Sat – there’s an Indian festival there which should be fun to check out πŸ™‚ You don’t anything exciting??

me too πŸ™ I have a Vesuvius-like colony on my left cheek. I might be stressing my skin out with all the stuff I’m using to fight the eruptions. I’ve resorted to drinking more water…

This is off topic but Bev, do you know of any leadership games? From all the meetings/trips/workshops you’ve attended… if you recall any, pls let me know? Thanks!

Well one thing I’ve done is to pass little blank booklets around with a person’s name on the front.. then each person writes something they like/admire about that person. So in the end each one gets a little booklet with pages in it about positive things about them πŸ™‚

To be honest, the games and stuff that we do are generally drinking or being stupid!!

I would guess it’s either from the peel you had, or the crazy travelling you did!! Add in the plane trip and the sleep (or lack of) into the mix, and voila! unhappy skin.

will they go away once you’re rid of workload? ‘cos ive been breakin out lately too, and i blame it ALL on the pile of assignments due. try to consume more water, veg and fruits. 150/month for interest is quite alot, compared to banks here which pay.. say.. really lil per year? =x

I really hope so! Hope it’s not a permanent thing.. ahh..

Banks here pay really great interest rates – love it πŸ˜›

Morning and night I have been washing my face with plain Neutrogena bar soap, then Aveeno Clear Complexion foaming cleanser, and lastly I put Proactive lotion only on problem spots (chin and temples). It has really cleared my skin up…..so well that I won’t skip washing my face at night.

Hey cool.. 2 people cant’ be wrong! Is it foaming? I don’t realy like milk cleansers, they don’t make my skin feel clean.. And hopefullly it’s not too $$ either πŸ˜›

Yep, it’s foaming stuff.

And I don’t like those types of cleansers either, they make my skin break out. My skin is sooo sensitive.

It’s a little more expensive then normal face washes but not too bad. It’s about 6-7 bucks at wal-mart.

I used to use proactive! I think my skin’ll do better with a really no-frills skincare routine, so I’m just using the most basic stuff. Hope it works *crosses fingers*

I almost always break out a bit when travelling. I think it’s the stress of it, plus sometimes the water in various places can wreak havoc on skin and hair. I’m quite worried that I’ll be all broken out after I fly to the US right before my wedding!

Yeah tha’ts true.. maybe all the really different climates wreck havoc on the skin :X

Maybe go to a good dermatologist before you leave to make sure your skin stays ‘intact’ whilst in the US? πŸ˜›

Ah!! I’m totally breaking out because of school! Last week was my Spring Break but I stayed home, worked, and did school work. Now this week hasn’t gotten any better in terms of school… we just keep on getting more work. Actually, this week is all about preparing for next week’s midterms. My skin is totally suffering πŸ™

Don’t forget about your expenses!! Woohoo for company trips πŸ™‚

Sorry I haven’t been commenting πŸ˜› I’ve seen some of the pics and I’m glad to see that you’re still busy as usual πŸ™‚

Oh bummer! You’re supposed to go mad during Spring break, aren’t you? πŸ˜› But I’m sure your midterm results will reflect the hard work you’ve put in, so it’s worth it!

use aloe vera gel
it helps
i think the peeling makes it more vulnerable

i am also suffering from bad skin, late nites and stress!

Really? Yeah.. i guess it calms the skin.. I’ve been using Cetaphil moisturizer – I figure the cheapest and most basic moisturizer won’t mess with my skin :X

Hope you get less stressed soon! πŸ™‚

Cetaphil is good. I use it. It’s a bit heavy but aren’t yall coming up on fall/winter over there? So it’s good for right now especially after a peel. Maybe life after a peel is “gets worse before it gets better”?

Also, try not to overload your face with makeup or cleansing products. I always breakout because of stress and makeup makes it worse. As most, if you can get away with concealer try that.

I have the Cetaphil cleanser too but it doesn’t feel ‘clean’ enough for me.. the moisturizer IS a bit oily imho but i only use it at night, so not too bad! I’m trying to keep it pretty simple and nofrills so I don’t attack my face with all sorts of treatment products that might conflict with each other, etc.. ahhhh so annoying! :X

Hehehehe, i havent been stressed about work for a long time so the adrenalin rush is good. Thanks!

ahhh, try face masks as well, it helps.
Can you get hold of TheFaceShop Mask in Sydney? They are quite cheap πŸ™‚

hey, you just did the peeling, right? isn’t it normal having a few breakouts after the peeling?
but cheer up, your skin always looks fine, if it starts to act, maybe it’s just a while πŸ™‚
