mmmmmm yum! the pictures of the food always looks so tasty….don’t know about the bbq stingray though – didn’t know you could eat them! =)

Yeah it kinda freaks people out, but it’s actually real yum! The taste is just like fish but the texture is smoother and sooooooo good :)~

was just thinkin of chomp chomp, and i pop by to discover that you’ve put up pics of food from there! πŸ˜›

which ntuc are you referin to btw? have you been to parkway’s basement food court? mee rebus/laksa (cockles!!!)/mee siam at 2bucks, huge portion!

Haha great minds think alike! I like Chomp Chomp ‘cos I can go to 1 place and get alllll the food I like πŸ˜‰

the NTUC is the one kinda near Farrer Road.. it’s a stand-alone buidling and the NTUC is on the ground level and small stalls on the upper levels. The food place is at the corner of the 2nd floor I think! SO YUM

Haven’t been to that food court!!! Is the Laksa better than the Holland V Katong Laksa? Cos I’m planning to have that tmorrow for lunch πŸ˜›

Oohh, I shall hunt down that place after exams. Hmm, IMO the laksa there is pretty good. Katong Laksa can be quite normal at times unless you add the chilli? To each his own, but I must say, so long as it’s laksa, I’ll have it anywhere! Hee

My DH and I have been talking about going to Australia with a stop in Singapore. Seeing all that yumminess is making me want to go even more! I’d even give that BBQ stingray a try. πŸ˜‰

you always manage to make me drool just looking at your pictures! πŸ˜›

oh i tried pre-pho at eastwood yesterday, the crispy chicken tomato rice was the best I have ever tried! thank you for recommending, bev πŸ™‚

Hee! I love SG food.. and ahhhh yes Pre-pho’s crispy chicken tomato rice is THE BEST! The chicken’s always so fat and juicy :)~ Their beef pho noodles are outstanding too.. the best i’ve had in Sydney.. and their garlic prawn thin-yellow noodles are suberb πŸ™‚

Don’t worry Bev, I bet the 1kg is just water weight and will simply disappear! Anyway all that good food is worth it, I so wish I was in SG right now for some Chai Teow Kueh! YUM!

I always crave proper satay when i’m in AU! The satay there is really more “chicken kebabs” then they are authentic satay :X

Some people kinda freak out at the thought of sting ray.. but it really just tastes like fish – but a lot smoother and nicer πŸ˜›

Yeh!! That would’ve been fun πŸ™‚ We can go for a jog together, hee

I’ll def be back around Christmas and a bunch of us should all meet up !

ohmigoodness, delicious photos as always! Bev how tall are you? I think you and I are about the same height. I would love to get back into shape! Your journal is very motivational for healthy foodies. I’m not sure what my goal weight should be, I’m a little over 5 ft. I haven’t checked in ages, but I know I’m short πŸ™‚

I’m about 5’4″.. short too :X My goal weight is around 44kg and before the trip I was 44.5kg but it’s REALLY hard to get it down! I exercised outside today and tonight I’m going to the gym and for a swim… trying to compensate for all the eating, haha!

I’m a midget at 5’1 πŸ˜› I want a goal weight to work towards, and would like an asian standard, may be 90lbs would be good. I don’t know where to start. I planned to get back into running in October, but never got around to it. What a flake! I really want to get fit!

Anyway, I like the new inspirational Bev journal. It’s motivating me to eat healthier and want to get fit as well!

It does suck being short :X My goal is 44kg which I *think* is around 95lbs.. so 90lb sounds about right for you! But it really depends on body type, etc.. I figure as long as I feel slim/lean, it’ll do πŸ˜›

slurp..slurpp.. πŸ™‚ yumm..this is what i’ve been waiting for.. :)~

and you only put on 1kg from all those eatings? hahah.. can’t complain too much.. πŸ˜›

I go *mad* in SG for the food.. I always miss it so much! 1kg is a lot to me since it takes me sooo long and sooo much effort to lose it :X

Singapore’s one of the best shopping cities imho.. it has everything from every luxury brand imaginable, to the cool cheap places. you’ll like it here! πŸ™‚
