You know the “really really really really really exciting” thing that was happening today?
We were pretty amazed to see about 50 people there.. some had 1 ferret, some had 2.. some had 8.. some had 13!!! It was insane – ferrets galore 😉 Had a lovely time talking to everyone and checking out the ferrets.. I’ve never seen ferrets before apart from Misty! Was really keen to find out if she’s considered small or large (she’s considered small) and if her personality was fiesty or placid compared to others (she’s considered pretty placid, everyone kept saying how sweet she was!).
And Misty’s reaction? She was totally freaked to see another ferret, *lol*! She looked totally bug-eyed and amazed to see fellow ferrets.. and was really really skittish when any of them came near her, jumping nearly 1 foot into the air. After about an hour or two, she calmed down a little and proceeded to ignore all the other ferrets, while they all played amongst themselves. She just kept looking around for me and wanted to be cuddled and played with by humans – she’s spent pretty much her whole life with chris and I so she really only knows how to interact with humans, and didn’t know what to make of ferrets.
Soooo tired now, it’s so hot today!

Ellie, one of the ferrets up for adoption. I wanted her so much!
I look like I’m holding her in a death grip here, *lol*
