Nah it wasn’t bad at all! If you like high-end designer, it’s more for looking not buying (it’s way more $$ in BKK)

and if you like the markets type stuff, it’s also fun. I just didn’t like it ‘cos I didn’t have a friend my age to shop with, and there was just SO much I was kinda overwhelmed πŸ˜›

BKK is known as a shopping paradise.. so I’m sure you’ll like it πŸ™‚ I just prefer the food, but you know me πŸ˜‰

Ok that was me who responded above. Sorry, I’m still dazed from my afternoon nap. Have you seen the matching wallet with the silver clasp? I can scan it in from the catalogue for you if you don’t have it already.

I do like the wallet (the Koala is the one your’e referring to I think?) but I looove my vernis wallets so I haven’t gotten it. The Koala agenda is adorable though!

great photos! very amused with the leather seats, must be oh-so-comfy!
and wow, so many shoes at that shoe store πŸ˜€
the mango and sticky rice looks way too yummy! luckily, its mango season over here!! ummm!!

I thought the leather seats were better cos they don’t have that stinky airplane smell that i can’t stand :X

I love mango season! it’s my fave fruit :)~

Oh wow! Look at the yummy fooooood πŸ˜‰
It’s been ages since I went to Bangkok – didn’t know they had pink cabs!

Me neither! they didn’t have pink cabs when i was there a few years ago.. or at least I didn’t notice them then. They’re cool, they really stand out

hi bev! you have the best pictures… always! anyway, what kind of camera do you use? it’s sooo clear! i love it. i have a canon s60 and it sucks.. or maybe i dont know how to configure it..

MIne’s a Casio Exilim, but it’s not really built for quality – but more for how small it is! But since my pics are cropped so small, I don’t mind the quality (3.2megapixels) πŸ™‚

To be honest, when I shrink the pics that small for my LJ, it tends to just look nicer πŸ˜› Then I use Paint Shop Pro auto-enhance sometimes if a pic is too dark, etc..

Re: blood!???? blood!!!???

and its lucky you didn’t get the white top, then you only get blood splatter all over it. now THAT would take some explaining at the customs….

Re: blood!???? blood!!!???

rofl.. that would look pretty suspicious, walking through customs @ the airport with blood on me πŸ˜‰

Sorry honey i missed this post till like now πŸ™

OMG ! I missed Thailand !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All the food photo posted makes me miss Thailand even more πŸ™

Hope your finger is ok now πŸ™‚

Fab post. Why did you buy a fake Gucci when you can *so* afford a real Gucci? Anyhow, love the pic of the hotel that you stayed it. Looks so lux. I think the picture of the cake was super cute, as were the pink taxis. That was a cute Dior shirt.

I’d get a real one in an instant if they had it in this design/shape and not keep selling out :X if I do see it in the boutique i’ll def get it!

Ahh.. I can’t keep myself clean in white, too dangerous. I like the top so much though

The food does look wonderful indeed ! Looks like you had a nice trip πŸ™‚
You’re so pretty as the Hermes girl hahaha

AHH! it’s so funny reading this post because i grew up in bangkok and have so many fond attachments to it. seeing you (whose food posts i’ve grown accustomed to) explore bangkok is really strange. you have a good eye for picking out the best things about bangkok – like the millions of cakes and the pink taxis! i’m glad you enjoyed it

Ohhh lucky duck, i think it woudl be nice to live there. i told my mum i’d like to live in a little village hut and wash my own clothes and eat at the roadside stores, and she’s like “haha, you’ll last a day!”. But i think I’ll like it.. especially the roadside food, yum!

I thought the pic of the pink cab was really nice.. cos it was so *bright* and everything else was kinda grey. I want one, lol!

Hi…total stranger to you here. I’ve been checking out your journal (I put it in my favorite places a while back…I don’t post in my journal…I only made one so I could comment/rarely post in the handbag communities). I found you in one of those and you always had such great stuff and great things to say, so I clicked on your name one day. I just wanted to let you know I SO enjoy your posts. The pictures of all the food are absolutely amazing. I get so hungry looking at them. And all your other photos are so much fun to look at since I’m sure I’ll never have a chance to travel to all those places (I live in Florida). Also, I got such a kick out of how you take pics of yourself trying on things in the dressing room. Reason being, I have a 19 year old daughter that does the same exact thing and I thought she was the only one who ever did that! BTW, I’m American and my husband is Chinese, so much of that food looks so familiar to me. I didn’t mean to write you a novel…I just wanted you to know how much I enjoy your journal. Sorry for the intrusion.
p.s. I cringed at the 2nd picture of you sitting having breakfast! I thought, “OMG, what if one of those drinks gets knocked over onto her Balenciaga!”

Hey welcome πŸ™‚ Florida is amazing and I love it there, lucky you! I went to Disneyworld when I was little, but your family have probably been there 2645 times. Bangkok has similar weather – really balmy but still with a nice breeze. But then again, we went in December .. when i was there in June it was stinking hot πŸ™

I just got back from Bangkok earlier this week and I can’t wait to return for another holiday! love that place especially the food, massage and shopping πŸ™‚
And how on earth do you stay so skinny despite eating so much! :\
Lucky girl!

Ooo we must’ve just missed each other!

I LOVE the food there.. wish we could’ve stayed longer and had more. the portions are small, so I didn’t feel guilty eating πŸ˜›

What wonderful pictures detailing your trip! You make me want to visit BKK again πŸ™‚ Were you at The Little Kitchen? The food looked familiar πŸ˜‰

Oo I don’t know if I was at The Little Kitchen, to be honest I didn’t really catch most of the names of places we went to! πŸ˜›

I think I normally don’t have my feet in photos! I wear flats quite a bit on weekends, but usually heels for work (i’m too short)!
