actually Indo restos here are just so-so, 99 is packed
because there isn’t many choice to choose. If 99 is in
Jakarta, they would be crushed by competitors.

Haha! I’m usually the one doing those preparing myself for the food kinda thing, smell the aroma and moan in ecstasy when munching the food I’ve always wanted and been craving for.. The boyfriend can only shake his head. Hahaha!

That pizza pic did something to my stomach. It’s growling… =p

Wow never had croissants with mushrooms before. That pizza looks really tasty – is it considered a gourmet pizza restaurant type place?
The best Caesar salad I ever had was at a place called the Lost Camel πŸ™‚ in Cronulla. It’s only a very small place but it had some camel memorabilia in it and I ordered a chicken caesar salad and it was the best I’ve ever had.

I saw Flightplan and liked it too πŸ™‚

Mushrooms are SO GOOD on croissants.. all buttery and flavourful πŸ™‚

Well it’s gourmet in the sense that thhey have more than the ‘standard’ pizza flavours, but the place is simple and crowded, not exactly a restaurant πŸ™‚

Hee – Lost Camel, it was just meant to be right?! πŸ™‚

ohh im going to Arthurs on wednesday night, i need some recommendations! the last time i probably went there was as a kid, and i swear its changed now!

Yayyyyyyyyyyyy remember to get the Australian pizza, that’s the best one IMHO. And the caesar salad’s good.. as is the burger with the works – yum

haha funny how i made mushrooms pretty much the same way as you did, with garlic and butter, but cooked them in the oven πŸ™‚ (those HUGE mushrooms)

and that indo place is soooo good! love their grilled chicken.. mmmm..
annnnd that avocado drink….. you gotta try (hehe look at the comments ppl made!)

the salad and pizza pics!.. bev, you’re making me hungry (even though i’m full)

I cook my mushrooms on a pan, but I put the croissants in the oven to heat them up πŸ™‚

I’ve never seen that avocado drink before! so bizzare, but it looked creamy and nice :)~ I’ll def try it next time I’m there.. either that or their cendol, which looked good to (though Alice’s has the best cendol I’ve ever had so far)

What? Going to ‘Ayam Goreng 99’ restaurant without ordering the infamous ayam bakar (grilled chicken)?? hahha.. Get plenty of their chilli sauce + kecap manis.. yum yumm.. :)~ Oh yeah, also love the sambal kangkung there.. very crisp..

The drink that you mention above could be ‘es teler’ (weird name – ‘teler’ means drunk?!) hahah.. it contains no alcohol, though. you definitely should try it out.. πŸ™‚

ohhh that’s what ayam bakar is, heh!

I used to always have that.. but i prefer the other food now πŸ˜› Oh someone was eating the kang kung and it looked sooooooo good! Gotta try it next time πŸ™‚

Avocado in a drink is soo weird, I wanna try some πŸ˜›
