Don’t be.. I never did talk about the work part 🙂 It’s exhausting going overseas for business, I just talk about the fun bits! 😛

I want to try ihop! I think there’s some in Western Canada, but none around where I live. A while ago they kept airing their funnel cake carnival commercials on TV and it looked so yummy.

Ihop’s nice! I wanted the buttermilk pancakes but decided to get the waffles instead.. Yeah I saw the funnel cake there too but I have no idea what it is so I didn’t get it 😛

Wow! It looks like you had a blast. I think I need to get myself down there one of these days. 🙂
Definitely! SF and LA are two really awesome cities for shopping 😛
posted on September 5, 2005 at 7:17 am
After shopping for so long, you didn’t get a single item? Unbelievable!
posted on September 5, 2005 at 9:52 am
All I bought was my favourite Estee Lauder concealer.. that’s it 😛 I’m pretty proud of myself! I was going to get the Balenciaga City Classique, but didn’t since the SA ignored me ;(

Sounds like you had a good time.
You should have bought the Balenciaga! I just got that exact one in the smaller size. But yeah, I can understand you being fed up with the SA. I have a short patience too when it comes to bad customer service.
posted on September 5, 2005 at 9:47 pm
Ooooh which B did you get, in what color? I’m after a sky blue, pink or red small City.. but I’m not spending $1,000 and giving a SA commission if she’s not pleasant about it. I’ll just get it shipped in or buy it when I’m next in the USA..
posted on September 6, 2005 at 10:47 am
I got the small in light blue so I was thinking “oh what a coincidence” when you mentioned light blue in your post. Great minds think alike 😉
posted on September 6, 2005 at 10:59 am
ARGHHH!!!! So gorgeous.. is that sky-blue or powder-blue though? Sky blue was last season, powder blue is this season.. I’m scared to get powder-blue, I figure I’d dirty it so quickly as I’m such a klutz 😛

Nice photos but you didn’t show us your shopping hauls!
posted on September 5, 2005 at 9:48 pm
I only bought an Estee Lauder concealer! Pretty amazing huh.. I go to THE shopping city in the world and don’t go nuts, haha!

Waffles! I want. Shall get them tomorrow. It’s half price at Gelare on tuesdays. Yay.
YES!! I love Gelare.. it’s like A&W and Tues are the best, haha. Can’t wait to be back in SG for them

IHOP! for some reason they’ve gone down with the quality of their food over the years, yeah their food is always lacking one thing. did you get a discount for the bug you found in your food? extra protein yummy! Glad you had fun on your shopping trip. Yeah I know how it feels to get snubbed by SA, they did that to me at the Chanel Counter at Saks 5th Ave. I so had a word with the manager and they ended up sending me a ton of stuff from the chanel counter for free! Yeah that SA didn’t deserve to make that sale and you’ve got more $$$ for cuter things…I love Dior! Check out the Miracle Mile out here in NY!
posted on September 6, 2005 at 4:06 am
Aww really?? Ihop’s so popular too.. maybe they changed management :X
Boy you’re so lucky to get the free CHanel stuff!! Maybe I should’ve done that and gotten a free Balenciaga bag *fantasizes*
What’s MIracle Mile??

Your entries always have so many food pictures, my boss asked me at work what I was looking at coz it looked so yummy! Anyway, the Japanese green tea is cool – I actually watched a documentary on the tea making ritual, and I saw that they used green tea powder and a little brush to blend it in water, and that turned out really frothy too! So maybe it was made like that!
posted on September 6, 2005 at 4:10 am
Hehe I love food pics! and what you said about the green tea makes sense.. *whew* haha

its true that being in comfy clothes doesnt mean you cant afford to get somethin branded. people just have this wrong perception, tsk.

Hehe yeah.. not sure where that energy came from, lol! Fortunately I don’t really get jet-lagged or I would’ve been stuffed they day I got back!
