oh grossssss….

on one hand she could be a totally gifted and able to stay slim no matter what she eats but im betting bulemia is more the case.

either way – no fair. I struggle every day and one chip too many and i have to lie down to zip my jeans.

Nah doubt she’s bulimic, that’s a serious illness and bulimics wouldn’t even be in a competition like that! I know lots of thin people that eat a whole ton, but no where near the scale of what she does.
Then again, I reckon if you trained yourself, you could also do that!

Thinking on that – your right – bulimics wouldnt enter a contest like that… and i know thin people who eat too. but not like that!!! lol

Imagining a stomach expand kinda freaks me out. 162 chicken wings would definitely make me sick, and gain a lot of weight! She’s lucky.
Is this article recent? It says she’s going to be a at contest that will be aired on ESPN this sunday, but that’s just if the article is recent πŸ˜‰ I’d like to see that !

I dunno if it’s recent, sorry πŸ™ Maybe see if ESPN has a tv guide?? I wish they’d show her on tv here, I’d love to watch!

Yes ! This weekend πŸ˜€

Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest
Coney Island, NY, USA 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm

Yes, she usually places number one at many eating events. Its funny when they show the competition table….a bunch of huge guys and her.

They had a hotdog eating contest here for July 4rth. I was going to take pictures, but then I thought I’d get sick watching it. On t.v. they said the adult winner ate 15 hotdogs in 12 minutes, and the junior winner ate 6 hotdogs in 12 minutes. Twelve minutes must be one of the eating contest time standards.

In 12 minutes, I could eat 2 and a half hotdogs (guessing).

I think I could stuff down half that amount of cheesecake in that time.. but that would be it and I’d feel ill afterwards;)

For some reason I am more interested in the sushi she’s getting to eat than her and the article… I think about food too much lately… eek…

but yeah I’ve heard of her, I think she’s just wonderful, an amazing talent she has! πŸ™‚

Lol.. she STILL looks interested in food too! I’m really impressed, I would’ve thought the ‘top eaters’ would be massively obese or something!

Hey, I don’t think that Sushi place is going to be too far away from where I’m getting a new job! (It sez Alexandria, Virginia, and i’m going to be working at Dahlgren, which is near Fredericksburg). I just hope that Sushi is the fresh kind and not the crappy old kind you find in a plastic container at Farm Fresh. *ugh*

OMG. She’s like super skinny. But I’m not envious if she has to exercise for the amount she eats. πŸ˜€

I seriously don’t understand how she can eat so much without getting sick throwing it all back up! And where does it all go?

She works at the Burger King at Andrew’s Airforce Base in VA πŸ™‚ I don’t live too far from there myself…so I’m tempted to go visit and get an autograph =D

she must not eat for a day before.. and then not eat the day after the competition? or maybe she works out a LOT.. but oo you should go visit and ask her for her secret! πŸ˜›

Got curious and read her website. Apparently she doesn’t eat like that everyday. Normally she eats much healthier stuff, and survives on one large meal a day. Well, that doesn’t sound so fun anymore. πŸ™

Haha that’s cool. It sucks that skinny people can eat so much and not get fat.. one of my friends is a size 6 (Au), she doesn’t exercise and she eats ten times as much as everyone else! I think I should tell her about this competition.. hehehe.

Heheh yeah, apparently thin people are good with eating competitions cos fatter people have a ring of fat around the stomach that prevents it from expanding. It sounds bizzare!!

I think she does cos she says she’s careful to eat as many calories as she works off..
that sounds like a LOT of exercise πŸ˜›
