It’s so hard to be healthy here in Melbourne, the portions are humonguous. I can probably have 3 whole meals with it….bah…

Hehe try living in the States! The portions are 1.5 – 2x the size here.. I like Singaporean-sized portions, they’re just right IMHO!

ooh i saw the new sophie kinsella book in borders..is it any good?i loved her shopaholic series. I was thinking of getting it when im at the airport so i can read it while im on my trip.

I haven’t read the book yet but I bet it’s good! I also love her other “can you keep a secret?” book.. her writing’s just awesome:)

i didn’t know she wrote that book. I will definitely go check it out. will need all the books i can get to keep me company at night when im away.

Mmmmmmm…I LOVE MCDONALDS’ HASHBROWNS!!!!!! Do the McDonald’s in Australia carry the McGriddles breakfast sandwiches? I’ve always been curious about how they taste!

I read a food review on it and it seems that there’s too much of the maple syrup flavor. And when I say “flavor” I mean that it tastes artificial and there’s a “chemical” aftertaste =Þ So I guess Aussies really aren’t missing out! LOL πŸ˜‰

Then again.. everyone always complains about Maccas food and how bad it tastes, but I love it πŸ˜› So I’m not gonna trust that review, hehe!

mmmm..craving for laksa now :)~
Hey, where’s that Laksa House in Wynyard?
Is it better than Malay Chinese Take Away on Castlereagh St.?

The Laksa House is at 60 Clarence St.. the laksa and prawn mee there is excellent!!! The pic above is that Castlereagh st one – I find their laksa and prawn mee isn’t as good as Laksa House, but I love their seafood hor fun!

Well well, I like Sophie Kinsella’s books too! Have read the whole shopaholic series of course! I also wanna get this “Undomestic Goddess”, but so far we only have the large print version here, wanna wait till it has the smaller mass paperback …

I want Macdonald’s breakfast too!!!!! The one here doesn’t have a breakfast menu (no market for such an expensive breakfast) πŸ™ I get my fix whenever I go to Kuching but we don’t have Bacon and Egg Muffin πŸ™

Awww poo πŸ™ Is maccas breakfast really that expensive there? It’s cheaper here than pretty much any other brekkie we can find!

Oooooooo so lucky!!! The cheapest roti chanai I can find is about US$1.50 each and comes with NOTHING and doesn’t even taste very authentic *grumble*

But I don’t like deliveries. Takes the fun out of it! I want to sit in Mac, enjoy the air-con, and eat the brekkie with all the nice smells wafting out from their kitchen. Only thing is that I don’t like the noisy kids. ;(

Ohhhh yeah that’s true.. in SG the Maccas experience is real nice. In AU it’s freezing so no one wants to go outside, ‘cos Maccas is cold too, so delivery would be perfect!

Agreed! I think it’s the whole thing with them being healthy now.. all the food tastes different and worse πŸ™
