This has been my favorite soup as long as I could remember. My mom would make this at least once every two week! Absolutely divine (in taste) and nutritious!!!

oooh your soup, in my book, is classified under “comfort food”. my mum used to make lots of that for cold nights, as well as the beef variety. it involves frying off some ginger in oil, then sealing pieces of osso buco. then you add water to just cover the meat and let it boil. turn down heat and let it simmer for 1.5-2 hours until meat is tender. occasionally skim scum and fat off the surface to ensure ending up with a clear and not cloudy soup. then add the whatever vegetables and seasonings to taste and bring to the boil.

I love soup! I took a cooking class last night and we made this deliscious tomato basil soup. I also have a question for you. So I know you’re very knowledgable about ebay (obviously!) and upscale brands and I really wanted the Elsa Peretti Open Heart Tiffany Necklace that everyone and their mom has and I thought I might look on ebay but so many of them seem like they could be fakes. Especially from those people who don’t have any feedback or don’t answer my question about returns if I find it is not authentic but do you have any other recommendations for spotting a fake/authentic necklace?

Mmm tomato basil soup makes a great winter soup too πŸ™‚

About Tiffanys – i’d say in general it’s hard to buy online unless you really know the brand. If you’re an expert on it, you can see from a photo whether it’s real or fake. I also recommend checking out the eBay clothing board and asking questions there, there are experts that can help you out πŸ™‚

I think Sydney and Melbourne are not exactly that cold, but for someone from the Equator/Tropics, it is cold enough during winter (at least to me !) πŸ˜›

Heheh but no ABC alphabet noodles in there? πŸ˜›

I think the soup is a really asian thing.. I used to have it with my family too!

This is one of my fave soup too, although I usually don’t add the corn and use tomatoes instead. It’s weird though, no matter how many times my sister and I cook it it just doesn’t taste as good as the one our mum makes.

I love this soup!! it’s one of my all time faves. :)))

I saw 2 rainbows this morning too, but one was clear.. the other one was really faint. couldn’t get a shot of both. πŸ™

I was scared as I didn’t think the ingredients would be soft.. but they really do! So yum :)~

I wonder if there’s such a thing as 3 rainbows in the sky?

Hey, that’s one of the soups my grandma and mum regularly make! It’s really good. :)~

And that rainbow is *gorgeous*! I’ve never seen one soo clear & pretty… :O

Yeah I used to have that soup when I was young! So yum :)~

I didn’t even enhance that pic, the rainbow was that colorful. Really pretty
