i am so going to Singapore now… my bf as been bugging me to go to Malaysia- since singa is so close i might give it a visit.

DO U HAVE ANY IDEA HOW HARD IT IS NOW IN CHINA TO FIND Chwee Kueh? i loved it as a kid but when i went back i couldn’t find it as all.

Yes, Malaysia and Singapore are def 2 great places to visit for food!

Awwww China has fab Xiao Long Bao!! πŸ™‚

What exactly is that Chwee Kueh?

You don’t seem to be much of a fan of veggies… πŸ™‚ Those dou miao look tasty!

Errrr so hard to describe.. kinda flour and water mixed so it’s a bit like jelly/pudding in texture.. and then served with pickled stuff on top for taste. It sounds totally bizzare, you gotta eat it! πŸ˜›

i love the pola biscuits! i remember eating them in class all the time and it was so cheap (well at least i thot so when i was 10) but then when i grew older, i thought it was pretty expensive for one of that. anyways..

you’ve been in sydney for so long. do you feel like you had grown up in singapore or sydney? i’ve always imagined you to be more of a sydney girl than a singapore girl.

and singapore’s food is the BEST ever. nothing else comes close.

Yes yes!! I ate them all the time when I was at primary school :)~ How much are they now? like 50c?

I’ve been in Sydney for about 10 years now.. through some of primary/high school, then for uni/work. I basically spent my growing-up years in Sydney so my personality/attitude is more Australian I suppose.. but I love SG as now I’m ‘discovering’ all this fab local food and I love it! πŸ˜› Overall, I consider myself Singaporean and I really want to come back to live sometime..
