It’s a bit excessive to pay hey :X And I’d be scared to wear such $ jewellery as I’m always losing mine!

Yeah Bev, I have always loved Chopard, but unfortunately I can only admire from afar because the average price of a higher end item is more like $10K. Yikes eh! πŸ˜‰

PS. I would like to see an authentic item from Chopard for $700 too by the way!!! I would buy it in a heartbeat!

I don’t know much about their jewellery but I know their watches are the most expensive around because they all have diamonds in them (or rubies or other precious and rare stones).

I have a copy of a Chopard watch. I love it and wear it on special occasions. I has a pink leather (mock croc) band, with heart shaped face with crystals (instead of diamonds) embedded in the silver ‘frame’ of the watch face, and little diamond-like stones that move around on the inside top surface, because there are 2 layers of glass, if that makes sense.

On another note, I went to Kobe Jones last night (on your suggestion!) and yes the food was fantastic. we ordered so much i took the leftovers to have as lunch today! so yum, we also had the dessert platter sampler thing to share.

I guess if you go for a Chopard watch with no diamonds/gemstones,it’ll be cheaper.. I like the floating diamonds though πŸ˜›
Dyou know if other companies make similarthings?

What did you have at Kobe Jones?? Their sushi and chef specials are the best!! :)~ I didn’tfancy their main courses too much as I found they weren’t super-special and also really massive (so I couldn’t fit any other food in!)

I can’t remember everything we had. but it was something like this.

There were 4 of us and we ordered 8 dishes (not including dessert and drinks). we had 2 types of sushi (entrees I guess) philadelphia was one and I can’t remember the name of the other one but it had sauce all over it.

we had a vegetable and a prawn tempura
soft shell crab with potatoes
calamari
some kind of raw fish dish (can’t remember which one as I’m not a fan)
and something else.

we also had guava juice, japanese tea, and miso soup.
and the dessert platter

geez my memory is pretty bad. wish i had a camera on me but didnt bring one.

The waitress we had was a Chinese girl from HK and she was fully giving us the hard sell but she was polite and friendly though.

Mmmm sounds good, I LOVE their sushi – my fave is the Volcano, it comes with scallops and cream and cheese and is DELICIOUS!
The crab is good hey, I just love it. And the mushroom risotto thingy is to die for too!

my aunt used to work for chopard in london before she went to malaysia (cos her husband’s frm there).. and she told me quite alot abt chopard. if u check out the happy diamond watches.. they shd be more than $15000. they are one of the most expensive brands around. as for the jewellery, should definitely be a few thousand. chopard’s a really really good brand and ive always fancied their happy diamond watches.

I didn’t realise Chopard was an $$ brand! Whoops :X I’m not terribly keen on the watches (adore my Gucci one too much!) but the jewellery is just diiiivine, i love all the moving sparkling diamonds πŸ™‚

Chopard

Hey Beverly…
I think they are quite expensive.
If i’m not wrong, their rings are usually around $700.. and i think pendents are $700+
They are so beautiful though!!

(oh and today i had my 1st round interview for a casual SA position with LV in syd city :)!!.. hope it went well…I am dying to work there!!)

Re: Chopard
