there are colour distinctions between P’s? I thought they were all the same! I have to have mine for 3 years. Did you previously have other P plates?

Ya.. we get a red P for one year, then a green P for 2 years, THEN a real license. And in between all those steps, you gotta pay about $100 each time! It’s such a rip off ;(

Yeah.. d’oh! Haha.

Nah, I’ll still work towards getting my full license since at some point in a few years time I’ll probably buy a car again and will drive it..

How long more before you get a full license? I’m glad I got mine in Singapore so I only need to be on P for a year. Although it was much less than that coz I didn’t need one in Australia at all, only when I was back in Singapore. πŸ™‚

1 yr Red, 2 yrs Green *cringes*
Plus it costs $100 to get my Greens! Unbelievable. It used to be harder/costlier to get it in SG, now I think it’s the other way round πŸ™
