I know a lot of hotels disappeared but I’m hoping the one your relatives stayed at might be the one my godmother stayed at….she’s missing.
Yeah, i think they didn’t quite get the full effect as it happened while they were at sea, but they would’ve seen the aftermath. I don’t know what hotel they were at though, and neither do my parents 🙁 I hope you manage to get into contact with your godmother.. will be sending good thoughts and vibes your way!!

Anyway, I hope they get back to SG safe and sound. It’s scary just imagining what they went through.. O_o

I’m really keen to hear their story when they get back.. I know, it’s morbid. But I’m just gagging to hear a first-hand account (that’s not already in the news).. to get an idea of what it was like.
Well, not about natural disaster but Bullock’s character was kinda stranded w/o money, passport etc to go home. Totally diff circumstances but kinda alike in situation.
This popular malay sg entertainer, Jai, was in a hotel in Phuket or something and he was in the news saying about how he had to scramble to the top storey of the hotel and how he witness the whole thing. Very scary to imagine. O_o
Ohhhhhhh I think I vaguely remember that movie!
Fortunately SG aid is pretty quick for SG citizens, so they’re all starting to stream back. I feel more sorry for the poor people in indonesia and India that get really little aid 🙁

They flew into Malaysia yesterday so they’re all safe now *whew* 🙂
