congrats on your new place and passing your driving! it sounds wonderful having a place of your own. you’re really lucky! if only things like that were more accepted here in Singapore – singles staying on their own, stuff like that.

Thanks! πŸ™‚

Nah in Singapore people are lucky to be able to live with parents, it’s sooo much cheaper and better you know. But I have no choice ‘cos I’m alone in a foreign country, but I’d live with my mum and dad any day πŸ™‚

I’m just really lucky to have cool parents :)) It’s so nice having them around too, you really miss them when you live oceans apart :T

hey you know, you really have the best parents. taking time off to visit you, helping you with the apt and car and all that. most pple dun have this kind of money! ;p

They ARE! They’re amazing and help me out so much.. I don’t think many parents would do that, especially if they have more than 1 kid. And they’re great to have around too, it’s nice having them here for a month πŸ™‚

You are so cute!! I know exactly what you mean about moving out and feeling like you are finally coming out on your own.. that feeling of being overwhelmed, happy – ultimately, it’s just incredible. Congrats, I am so happy for you! xxoo

You described it perfectly πŸ™‚ I mean, at first it’s all stressful and scary, but once you’re in and unpacking and all that, it’s just this HUGE feeling of relief and pure happiness. It’s wonderful πŸ™‚

Wow!

(Jac) You sound so blissful! I hope your back’s better now. Take good care, ya? Parents are the best, aren’t they? I love mine to bits! *lol* You’re lucky and you deserve it, cos’ you’re appreciative. Enjoy ‘filling up’ all the spaces! =)

Re: Wow!

The back’s not so good still πŸ™ Which is crap because I want to unpack and do stuff!! And yeah, parents are just amazing.. I don’t know what we’d do without them!
