Hey Beverly! I’ve been meaning to comment since I added you weeks back, but I keep forgetting to. Anyway, I remember you from the gemz.net days — I was on delish (I’m Maureen). πŸ™‚

I love this survey! How cute. LOL!

Holy crap… we go a long way back πŸ˜› It’s been, what, 4 years or something since we first ‘met’ each other? Will add you now!

I knowww! When I found you (I forgot how, maybe through the community oldschoolers — checks it out, you might find some oldies like us — ugh I don’t like how that sounds. LOL jk!), I was like “Weeee!” Haha, great to connect back to everyone, huh? πŸ™‚

I was reading your entries — seems like everything’s going great! You’re working now. Wow, time really does fly by. Can’t wait till I graduate. LOL!

Hahah yeah. We should have some sort of online reunion of sorts -would be cool to see how everyone is and where they are now. Hope you’re enjoying school! I got really sick of it near the end.. the academic life is just not for me I think πŸ˜›

I know! haha. I think one day we’re all going to end up ‘finding’ each other I think. πŸ˜€

School’s okay so far — I’m liking the LIFE I’ve found outside of my sheltered past. I’m studying in the state (even national) university, so it really is the microcosm of Philippine society, I’m seeing and meeting all kinds of people, all kinds of thoughts… so it’s cool. πŸ™‚ Plus I’m studying my interests. But I don’t think I’m cut out for too much academics either, which high school so succinctly proved to me. LOL! I’m thinking of getting an MA just to up my competitiveness when I start working though. Oh, I don’t know, I have how many years of college to go. πŸ˜‰

It’s so cool to see how you’re working now and all that, though. πŸ˜€ How IS work so far? It sounds like you’re enjoying it. πŸ™‚ Oh, I have a couple of friends who are now in Australia for their Bachelor’s degree. Cool, huh? πŸ™‚

When do you graduate? I’d suggest working for a year or two before deciding whether or not you want to do masters.. ‘cos if you get a great job and you’re happy, you don’t *need* to do it y’know? or you can do it when you’re older and you feel it may advance your career even more, etc..

Work is SO much fun – I absolutely adore it πŸ™‚ What unis are your friends in? I went to UNSW.

Bev, I can’t believe I forgot to reply to this! LOL.

Yeah, that’s definitely good advice. Thanks, I’ll think it over. πŸ™‚ I don’t graduate till 2007, assuming finish on time. LOL! Still a few more years to go. I just started university. πŸ˜€

One of my friends is still doing some sort of college prep lessons? I’m not sure, but it seems that the differences in Australian and Philippine education required her to do that. But she’s going to study at University of Melbourne. Another friend is going to University of New South Wales if I’m not mistaken…then I’m not sure about the third one, but she’s definitely staying in Sydney. πŸ™‚

(Jac) I’ve never got a manicure too! Actually, I wanted to, just for the fun of it. The lady was just finished with my pedicure when my bf, Bren called and asked me to hurry (you know, GUYS…) so I forgot about the manicure. Ha, anyway, my fingers still look fine. =)

Re: Survey

Heh well manicures are pretty expensive.. a good hygienic one is at least $30 and I’m not willing to pay that kind of cash since my nails won’t look THAT much better than when I do it myself!
