Y’know.. when you said that, it suddenly made sense. But then I remembered this morning I made a loud noise in my room, and she jerked awake and looked at me – so her hearing’s ok, thankfully! She was so active last night and ran everywhere 🙂
THey don’t sell ferrets here in Sydney, at least not that I’ve seen 🙁
And she didn’t even bite!

It’s good that you got her so young… sounds like she’s quite tame already, if she’s falling asleep on you! ^_^ Maybe you can train her to do stuff… like, not fall off the desk if you let her crawl around if you’re on the computer. But then, have tissues handy, coz you never can tell when mice need the loo. That’s the only part that I don’t like about mice. No control.
If Chris is so keen on Mouse of Doom(tm), you could get him a toy mouse and call it that. Or a real mouse, as a companion for your one.
Yeah – baby mice are always good ‘cos they’re much tamer and unafraid of humans. Mice are afraid of heights though, so they won’t jump off stuff even when young 🙂 BUT, I want to train her to come when she’s called, my last mouse Pepsi used to do that!
