Re: Budgeting website

Hey, I wish Westpac or St George had stuff like that!

I want something that I can add an expense (ie. bought lunch, bought new pants, etc) whenever I spend, and add an income (ie. wages) when I get it.. does that site do it??

Re: Budgeting website

sorry bev, it doesn’t do anything like that. I’m looking for a better one that does what i wish but this is the best that i’ve come across so far.

Re: Budgeting website

D’oh! Yeah, I can’t find something that I’m *exactly* after.. feel like programming one myself πŸ˜›

Congrats on getting the job, bev!

I used to pay full-fare for my bus fares in Oz too and at that time, the weekly pass was only $34 I think. STA keeps increasing the prices !@$@$&!@&!#@!

STA *just* increased their prices AGAIN this month and I stupidly didn’t know this ahead of time, or I could’ve bought my $40 passes for cheaper πŸ™ I’m really peeved cos I’m *just* outside the smallest zone, so just cos I’m about 2 bus stops further, my pass goes from $29 to $40. Grrrrr.

How annoying is that?!?!?! I used to buy a whole load before I knew they were going to increase the prices. It’s insane to increase prices so often!

I see. They say Sydney’s public transport is one of the most expensive…but I guess it’d still be cheaper than driving because of all the toll fees that you have to pay..

Microsoft

How much do you get paid by microsoft? like per hour and week? i wanna work there too!!

Re: Microsoft

Ahh.. I don’t think it’s really kosher to blab publicly what I earn, so I prefer not too! But it’s basic IT graduate pay, really πŸ™‚

“Did grocery shopping and bought 2 pairs of *gorgeous* shoes”? so shoes count as ‘grocery’ shopping, huh? LOL πŸ™‚ anyway a big furry CONGRATS for scoring! πŸ™‚ hope you’ll have truckloads of fun on your first day! πŸ™‚ *waves*

Heheh that came out wrong, honest! I meant to say “I did grocery shopping” then “I bought 2 pairs of shoes”.. but heck, I guess shoes were a necessity so it sorta counts πŸ˜›

I am so excited for you, babe. Congratulations on this incredible new job.. I have honestly not been this happy for somebody in a really long time.

PS. I TOTALLY do that whole “pick out the outfit the day before” routine. It makes me feel more confident, prepared.. and not so much stressed out the big day. xxoo

Awww thanks!! I’m really glad you’re happy for me πŸ™‚ And yeah, this is the first time I’ve been this organised to start work the next day *lol* But since I get up at 6, I NEED to be organised since I’ll be running around like a mad chicken.

I also pick out clothes the day before too. It gives me something to look forward to.

BTW, Beverly the outfit that you picked out sounds great. I know the great feeling of absolutely doing *nothing*. I’m going to miss it when I start school.

Ahhh school holidays are great, I love just bumming my butt off πŸ˜‰ I guess i’ll have weekends completely off so I’ll be looking forward to those!

hmm $40 a week? that’s pretty good actually considering you’re paying full-fare heh. but then you were ani international student and our gowvernment is too stingy to give international students travel concessions so you were paying full fare all along, right?

Really? I know it’s more than driving (cos have to pay road tolls, etc), but I’ve never paid $40/wk for transport before so I really feel the pinch :X
