you are definitely damn brave.
wah lao you are pretty unlucky loh…
all these shithead guys in a row! damn…
the guy who works at “3”… i think you can disregard him as your friend, haha…
at least things are alright now right?

oh and… speaking about names..
my brother took a name, “Zephyrinus” for his confirmation name.
mine’s “Ezekiel”. i have a friend called “Sharezer” and one more called “Xae”.

those are the more unique names i’ve heard of.

– Ben

Yeah, it was a really unlucky and crap week :T

Xae and Ezekiel sound cool actually.. I like unusual names, but not *too* unusual such that you have to repeat it 236326 times before people get it, or if you have to spell it out. But I don’t want to name my kids really really common names or they’ll find that 5 other people in the class have the same name as them! Chris always has that problem πŸ˜›

Whoa!
A thunderous applause for being so brave!!! *clap clap* I must say, you were so daring…I would have wanted to behave like how you did in the first situation, but I doubt I’ll ever have the guts.
Mark my words, you’ll rebound πŸ™‚ Waiting for your cheery entries again, but till then, go ahead and fume. It’s cathartic! πŸ˜‰

P/S: Will pray that you’ll feel better soon πŸ™‚

Man, sounds like you had a pretty rough weekend. Hope things are going better or turn around for you soon! That first scenario could have turned out much worse; if he hadn’t stopped in time you might not have been alive to write this entry. = (

Something’s in the air, all right…it’s called evil!

hehe yay! i sure felt like an idiot about my last comment.
anyway, i do share your pain about pedestrians and drivers, *sigh* i hate crossing the road. but now since i’m driving, i have to be extra careful.
i havent been back to singapore in.. 3 years. i was supposed to go back this summer (june. thats makes it your winter, eh?) but those plans got messed up. i will be back next june though, and im already excited!! when are you next going back?
hehe cheer up though, bev!!!
love, holly.

Urk..you drive?! I’m so embarassed.. I’m like 2463474 years older than you and I still can’t ;( I haven’t taken my driving exam cos I’m such a slacker and too lazy to book it!!

Man, 3 years.. I haven’t been back in a year and i’m all angsty to see everyone plus eat the food. I have no idea when I’ll be going back, honestly, things are just all over the place atm so my plans aren’t confirmed!

It’s in the water darling. Just be thankful you’re not drinking it πŸ˜‰ Feel better *hugs*

Oh dear.. been drinking lots of water this past 2 weeks ‘cos I’ve been getting bad headaches/migraines! I think it’s the cold winter weather that gets everyone pissy :T

I wouldn’t be surprised. I get like that too when it gets cold. Smelling yummy comforting scents on my skin and around me definitely helps though!

Heh really? I *have* heard that it’s better driving in Canberra and places like that.. but apparently Singaporean drives are even worse :T

Oh, you poor thing. I can understand sometimes you just have those bad days… or weeks… or months.. I’m guessing those guys driving were fairly young.. but that doesn’t matter.. in any case, if they keep driving like that, they’ll send themselves to an early grave.
I never actually cross a zebra crossing till I look the driver in the eye and can see that they are slowing down to a stop.. I know it’s the law and common sense for the driver to stop whenever someone is on the crossing or about to cross, but it does not happen or the time.. or even if they mean to stop, they may have other things on their mind or be doing something else..
I say this is as a driver.. not because I’ve actually tried to run someone over at a zebra crossing but because as a driver I often see people walking out and not even looking at the cars coming from their right that could potentially drive into them. This is not just me either. People just blindly cross the road sometimes.. (not saying this is you).
ok enough ranting.

Ya – I’ve had driving lessons and it’s unbelievable how many people just cross the road without even looking and expect you to stop for them. And this isn’t at a crossing, it’s just a normal road where you’re NOT supposed to cross! I’ve even see people climb over fences that divide both roads and stuff.. it’s mad.

So I do take care when I cross a zebra crossing, juuuuust in case the driver doesn’t see me. But I certainly don’t expect people to see me and then rev their engines real loud so I’d run the hell back and not get in their way. Grr!

Goodness, what a horrid time u have had!
I sure hope things are going to look good for you.

Go buy a lottery ticket – its abt time you got
rewarded for putting with all that $hit.

And I think you were really brave in that first incident.
Some guys I know would already have stopped given up
agruing and left. =)

Go girl!!

Heh you know, I’ve never bought a lottery ticket before in my life. I’ve only gambled once and that was with $4 and I lost it all so now I’m too scared to gamble πŸ˜›

Shout, scream, curse into a plastic bottle filled with water. Close the lid and shake it like mad. Throw it around if you have to. When you feel better, pour the water away. And cut the bottle into pieces and throw it away.

The first 2 are two stupid drivers. They shouldn’t be allowed to drive at all! I hope they meet each other at the zebra crossing, opposite direction of course and bang each other. Well, as for the 3rd one, I hope that his phone gets stolen tonight, he can’t claim a new one and he weeps like a girl until his eyes falls out and regret being so rude to the pretty girl who was talking to him in the phone shop the other day. OR they can all just rot in hell.

Gaahhhh! People ARE getting ruder. Like krambear said, screaming is goooood. I used to do it in my car…it really helped. Driving along and screaming at the top of my voice. Not sure what other drivers thought if they saw, but, who cares! Got your response to my other post, tks. I hope you are feeling a bit better now. Hee hee, I don’t need any more stuff either, but I’m just going to get a couple more things (x 10)…famous last words! Lisa BerryD =:)

The other drivers probably thought you were being hurt in your car or something, heheheh! I screamed good and hard at the 1st driver, but didn’t get to for the other 2 :((

Is it something in the air? Yes and it’s turning people into rude little bastards. I thought they were all at Disneyland, but apparently they’re making their presence known in Australia, too.

Go out into your yard and scream… or pound a tree trunk with a big stick. Sounds barbaric, but believe me, it will make you feel TONS better. I know where you’re coming from and I know that if anyone will get out of it, it’ll be you.

*hugs* <--- look, I did it right this time. ;P

Hheheheh I love your choice of words! Instead of hitting a tree with a stick, couldn’t I just hit those drivers? Or at least their cars? *puppy eyes*

Good on you for sticking up for yourself! Glad you didn’t allow yourself to be intimidated. πŸ™‚ Do cheer up… things can only get better, hey?

I normally would since they’re bigger in a car, but I’m just sick of terrible drivers that purposely try and scare pedestrians ;(

Oooooh… *sprinkles confetti* CONGRATS! You probably have heard that a thousand times, but hey πŸ™‚ Lucky you! Thought of names yet, etc?

Thanks! I never get tired of hearin’ it! *grins* Well, I have a list, but I’m always open to any suggestions… any thoughts? πŸ™‚

I like Caleb or Xavier for a guy.. and Crystal or Caitlin for a girl – I tend to prefer unusual sort of names πŸ™‚

I have both of those names (Caleb & Xavier) on my list (now that I know it’s a boy)! I like unusual names too! I’m a poet and I guess that’s the poetic side coming out! *grins*
