ghet·to n. pl. ghet·tos or ghet·toes

hmm a ghetto is like a little slum area of a city isnt it?
Hee hee! Yeah, the ghettos are run-down, slummy neighborhoods (no offense to anyone who lives in one). Boy, they sure use that word a lot in the Navy. Anything that’s used as a makeshift device for something else, such as a heavy book as an iron, is considered “ghetto.” Duct tape around a few pieces of cardboard and you have yourself a ghetto box! Hee hee!
