How did I eat so much? When there’s a will, there’s a way! Hehe oh rather, since I wasn’t paying, I could just eat as much as I wanted without feeling guilty. Man the food was so good though… I hadn’t had steak in the longest time.

What’s Hurricanes like?? I don’t think I’ve heard of it. I’m close to Bondi though so lemme know where it is and what it has, I want to check it out! 🙂

hurricanes is pretty famous for their steak and ribs. the steak and ribs combo is like $20+ but the portion is huge. and the steak is really juicy and yummy. mmmmm… i’m not sure of the exact address but you know the open air area at bondi where they usually have some little stalls selling stuff? if you turn into that area and walk past all the stalls towards the back, hurricanes will be on your right. its usually pretty packed though, especially on weekends so either go earlier or maybe find the number from the phone book and make a booking.

!!!! I’m there! I’m there!! Steak and ribs are my weakness… mmmmm… I don’t really remember Bondi so I’ll just hop on a bus to Bondi Junction, and I assume it’s walkable from there? I’ll probably just ask around for Hurricanes. Think we can go there this Sun night.. mmm!!

ack! i can so understand the no shower, no makeup, no clean clothes situation. i for one cannot shower without *my* stuff – my cleanser, my moisturiser etc. i’m not too fussed about makeup, but i think i’m slowly getting there :PP well, glad to know you survived! sleepovers are fun, IMO .. but somehow, it’s only so if i’m prepared :PP

Heh I know… I don’t use much makeup normally but I *need* my concealer or I get real cranky, especially when they’re taking bloody photos of people! Next time I’m going to put everything I need in my bag just in case 😛

ah, i was just about to page you on MUA. do you think you’ll still be able to help me out with paula’s choice online orders? i don’t have a credit card and i’m not a member 🙁 there’s a 40% off thing going on for members at the moment, and i’m trying to get my hands on some of their stuff 🙂

the offer is until feb 28 and i will be back in australia on feb 13. PLMK if you’re still alright with it 🙂 thanks!

Sure, I”d love to help out 🙂 If you let me know what you want to get, I’ll pop it into the shopping cart and find out the total, and then you can do a bank transfer or something to me.

yup yup! you mentioned before that you could use my address so they can ship it straight to me, instead of going through to you first, right? if that is so, then that would save me from paying shipping twice!

i’m looking at the 1% BHA but am unsure of whether i should get the lotion or solution. i tried their samples before, but 2% BHA broke me out and and i can’t remember if i used the 1% BHA lotion or solution.

i’m browsing their site now, i’ll get back to you yeah? 🙂 thanks!!

          • beverly posted on February 6, 2003 at 9:52 pm

Yeppies 🙂 I’m going to order from them too, a reorder of the BFS and BHA.. love the 40% off!! I wasn’t aware the 1% BHA came in the solution form? But I’ve used the 2% lotion and solution and the lotion is BY FAR much better. The solution is helluva oily and greasy but the lotion’s just a moisturizer.

          • claypot posted on February 7, 2003 at 1:44 am

okay, in that case i’ll be getting the 1% BHA lotion 🙂 it’s only $10.75 too, my god, a fantastic price if you compare it to clinique’s total turnaround!!

do you think they could include samples? i wanna try out the 2% again, as well as the 8% 😛

what else should i get, do you think?

          • beverly posted on February 9, 2003 at 10:02 pm

            Heya!

Yeah they’ll prolly give samples, I’ll just put in a note and ask for them 🙂 Mmm.. the Blemish Fighting Solution is really awesome, I use the BHA at night, and this in the morning and haven’t broken out in ages!

          • claypot posted on February 10, 2003 at 9:21 am

mmm :/ i was thinking of getting philosophy’s “on a clear day” – have you tried this?

i think i might get a short-handled PC powder brush! i hope it’s great for travel, but won’t it get messy & dirty, if you put it in your makeup bag for touch-ups? she doesn’t have a retractable one 🙁

          • beverly posted on February 10, 2003 at 8:43 pm

I haven’t tried the Philosophy but I haven’t been impressed with their skincare in general :T

The short PC powder brush is awesome! I pop it in my bag and it works so well, it’s just soft enough and I put it in my m/u pouch and it’s just fine that way.. plus it’s so cheap that I can just buy another one if it dies. I’ve had mine for 6 months and it still is as good as new 🙂

          • claypot posted on February 14, 2003 at 3:17 am

eep! mistake! it was the 1% BHA *solution*, not lotion!

          • claypot posted on February 14, 2003 at 12:29 am

okay, these are what i’d like to get:

            1. 1% BHA lotion, 60ml
            2. short-handled powder brush

            samples of:
            a) 2% BHA
            b) blemish fighting solution

            thanks so much 🙂

          • beverly posted on February 16, 2003 at 3:16 pm
