Re: pics of your room
Heya! Erm.. I think I used to have the Beach one, but didn’t really use it. I don’t like Stila trios as much ‘cos I can’t put them in my MAC palette like I do with my UD e/s. But apart from that, they’re really good quality and fun to use.. 🙂

oh which mac palettes hold ud shadows??

Oh, any of the empty pans! I like the 15-pan one best, it’s only US$11 I think.. I have 3 of them and filled them up with UD e/s.

oh how do you get the shadows out of their orginal container?

Check out http://swap.beverlys.net – it’ll have all the info there 🙂 I gotta say though, getting all those UD e/s out of their annoying pots and putting them in 1 sleek palette is *really* satisfying!

Beverly, you gotta post pictures of your new place!!! i have a 4-bedroom house and since me and my hubby don’t have kids yet, one is the master bedroom, one room for me (which is bigger than my old dorm room), one room for him, and one for a spare. i love my room. it’s my safe haven away from my dog. 🙂 can’t wait for the pictures!

*lol* sounds good to me.. I go to Macquarie usually in the evenings after work, but I’m going to go tomorrow for late night shopping, woo hoo!

That’s so cool .. and I think 2700 is a really good salary, considering that you’re still a student..
Is that like after tax ?? if it is .. you should be happy !!
If I’m not wrong, MacQ also has an ice skating rink as well as a driving range up the road, so u can polish up your swings / drives !!

I don’t get taxed ‘cos I’m in the tax-free threshold, thankfully!! But I know people in the same field earn way way more than me – but I guess i’ts cos they’re graduates and work full time.. I can’t wait to graduate now 😛
The ice skating rink is cool, but no golfing for me thanks! I’m so bad at it 😉

If you were in America and earning $2700 a month as a student…You would be damn lucky. In fact, more than damn lucky. My own father brings home about $4000-5000 a month (maybe more, but I don’t know..that’s just a guess…). Is there a huge monetary difference between AU and USA?

$2700 is in Australian dollars though! So that makes it about US$1500 or something like that. It’s actually minimal wage I think. Australia pays pretty well for casual/non-skilled jobs.. the minimum wage for my age is about AU$14 and in Singapore it’s about AU$5. Not sure how it goes in the US though?
