Hey, you know what, the Rev., could actually be correct — because in the Christian context, love is broken down into a few different types… you have “brotherly love”, you have “romantic love”, and then you have “agape love”.

Romantic love is seen as love that is built on sexual attraction — the kind of warm, fuzzy, feeling- based kinda love…

Contrast that with agape love — which is unconditional love… loving a person, and showing a person love even when you DON’T feel like it.

So… I think he could be right!

Dya think so? I’m not sure.. I just thought “Hang on!” when I first read it. I’ve never heard our paster talk about love being sexual attraction before.. they’re always saying that it’s about mutual respect, trust, friendship, etc. I wrote in to the magazine though, so I’m really eager to hear what their response is!
