micrsoft….is the devil…pure and simple….
too bad their employees make BANK….almost makes me wanna be the devil too….

XP? ME?

what? ME killed your computer?

i dont know, somehow it was the other way for me. XP totally screwed my system up. i couldn’t stay in irc for more than 30 minutes, giving me some ‘software cause connection abort’ message.

XP just didn’t like me i guess. hEh.

Re: XP? ME?

Really? Lots of my friends in college are in love with XP, including me, because it hardly ever crashes or stalls. ME stuffed up my computer so bad I had to reinstall :T

congrats!

but hey anyways congratulations on your getting picked!
do let all of us know how the interview went, ok? and well, all the best!!!

it’s one of those jobs that you’re gonna love, so try your best! ganbatte!

Re: congrats!

I’ll definitely quit the food job if I get this one.. nothing beats this job! Thanks for the support, I hope it goes well too πŸ™‚

Thanks guys πŸ™‚ It’ll be interesting anyway, but I don’t think I’ll know the outcome until a few weeks when they really decide who they want..

Err.. well my Uni grades! They aren’t exactly 100%s :T Also, I know lots of people that are better at computers than me. The only reason I really like the job is because it focuses on HTML, Css and Javascript – my top 3 fave programming ‘languages’!

My favourite computer language is smalltalk. Check it out (opensource version available at: http://www.squeak.org/). I think it only have 5 reserved words and 20 rules. Its really simple but very elegent.

And grades don’t always translate into smarts.

smalltalk sounds really interesting.. I’m at the site and thought how it was funny that they demonstrated how to use “BankAccount”, ‘cos we did the same process, but in a language called B instead. OK< so that's not very funny.. but to me it was :P

Heh, sorta! But at the same time it makes me sooo nervous and anticipated. I mean, I know I mustn’t think too much about it so I don’t feel too let down if I don’t get it.. but ARGHHH I CAN’T STOP THINKING ABOUT IT!! πŸ˜€

Think of it this way, you *know* you’re right for the job, all you have to do is communicated.

What landing this topnotch interview tells you is that a) You’ve got the qualifications at the very least, and b) You’ve got a resume that effectively promotes that and makes big important companies call you back.

You’re already ahead of most of the comp sci students that way πŸ™‚

Good luck !

OK when you put it *that* way, it sounds so simple! πŸ˜› Hehe thanks though.. we’ll see how it goes tomorrow……….

congrats!
