I totally sympathize!

Two nasty things in a week? That’s really really disgusting. The food at my college isn’t that great either. They serve the same stuff every week, and in order to conceal the nasty taste, all they do is add a bunch of pepper. So everything is really spicy! Luckily, I haven’t heard of anyone finding things in their food that doesn’t belong there. But eating here has totally turned me off to any kind of food. I can’t even eat in restaurants anymore without inspecting the silverware and feeling disgusted by the food. It’s getting really bad. Only 10 more weeks of it, though!

Re: I totally sympathize!

Hahhaha! I’ve developed an uncanny obsession with checking out plates and cutlery too – anywhere I go. It’s from College and their plates and cutlery with food and stains still on them.. euurgggh.

That IS pretty gross. Here at our school, almost everything is individualized. I would absolutely puke if I had to share butter with the rest of the world. It doesn’t mind me that it sits outs, because it’s ok to leave butter out (we do at home). I don’t mind it being a tad bit mushy, I just don’t want jelly and breadcrumbs in it. Ugh….

And about those little objects in your food…If that’s happened twice to YOU ALONE to one week…Imagine how many others are dealing with it. I would soooo report it to someone. Ugh, that is so gross.

No kidding! We’re *supposed* to have individual pats of spread and stuff, and we used to last year, but this year they’ve decided to put out a communal slab of butter – it’s nasty.
And yeah, makes me feel a bit ill thinking of the foreign matter all of us are eating a day ;(
