Poor thing! You should be fine by Sunday…but you certainly learned a lesson the hard way! It’s always best to easy into a routine…be sure you do some stretching today to release the lactic acid that’s built up in your muscles.

(BTW, I added you to my friends list!)

hmm, do your ribs hurt yet?
I always get the huge huge body ache after I do the annual sport run. (never play vigorous paintball when u havent’ exercised in a year). It will be okay in a few days, muscles are just really stressed and strained, if you keep stretching, it will probably help so that the next time your muscles won’t feel so youch. Not that I should be the one talking, i groan so much after I’ve had exercise and need so much more sleep and wake up feeling like crap πŸ™‚
its not just u πŸ™‚

All of me hurts, but my thighs hurt the most because we did heaps of lower-body exercises. My abs hurt too though, especially when I sneeze *ouch*! Guess it’ll take me a couple of days to recover from this.. and next time I’m sticking to gentle swimming – no more intensive aerobics!

Re: i know!

Duh, don’t take painkillers. It’s normal to feel aching. In fact, you will miss feeling aching once you got used to the training.

Re: i know!

Um. I have to. I can’t walk or even sit properly.. it’s beyond just an ache, it’s agony. It’s because I haven’t exercised in 4 years and then went intensive, so my body just totally rejected it. No more exercise for me!!

Re: i know!

Try to exercise gradually. That is what I am doing right now (being forced by new Major that all personnels are to participate in trainings every alternate days now). You really feel great after exercise, so don’t stop. To be frank, I hate sports, and I normally try my best to avoid PE in school then. But after entering into the Army, I realised how important sports are. I am so glad that I have my supportive campmates to get me going and not give up half-way. I owe them a lot!

Re: i know!

I hate sports too! The only sport I like is ballet. But yeah, maybe I’ll do a bit of swimming to work myself up.. I’m never doing this Dance exercise workout again, at least not ’till I’m really really really fit!

Re: i know!

Haha, at least we share a little thing in common. The sports I like are billard, pool, table tennis, football, and basketball… Oh yes, I am a little lazy when it comes to sport. owell πŸ™‚
