Hmm… did you know that http://beverly.livejournal.com doesn’t seem to be working? :-/ It’s says “Addresses like http://username.livejournal.com aren’t enabled for this user’s account type.”

That sounds so horrible. “Well. Enough about the whole US tradgedy. News reports all over the world have bashed that subject endlessly, and so have I.” It sounds like your saying…it only happened yesterday but today is a new day so who cares about the US, as long as Singapore’s fine, I don’t care anymore…. I’m sorry but your other posts makes me very mad.

Sorry, I meant Austrailia instead of Singapore.

So… you want me to KEEP talking about it in my journal? I wrote quite a few entries about it, and I figured it was time to let it rest. After all, I don’t need to keep going on and on about it when I’ve said what I have to say.
So please don’t tell me to continue talking about something that I think generates a lot of anger, frustration, and sadness. I want a change of topic – something relatively funny to take people’s minds off this tradgedy. Is that so bad?

it’s the way that you said it…i was offended by some of your earlier posts

No, it’s not bad. It’s the way you say it though. Obviously this is no big deal to you. It is painful to millions of other people, though. Is it so hard to be a little sensitive?
I know, this is your journal. You say what you want, what you think. But your journal is public for us to read. Please take some of your readers’ feelings into consideration. God forbid, someday our roles may be switched. You all are not so popular with Afghanistan or a lot of the world right now, either.

Sorry Beverly, looks like you made yourself a lot of enemies since yesterday. Perhaps the next time you should *think* before posting about serious issues.

Hmm… I did “think”. And what I posted is what I thought. I am AGAINST war, and I am AGAINST the racism of an entire group when it should be a small group of people that should be targeted. That’s all.

Nah, its not like there’s a national crisis going on over here..I mean, only two buildings were bombed, one of which happened to be the Pentagon..do you know that its *never* been attacked in US history? I think it was rather rude to just dismiss it like that.

Obviously, it IS a big deal – it’s devastating to the world. BUT, why must you insist I keep talking about it? I don’t want to keep going on, because it’s upsetting, frustrating, and downright terrifying that the culprits are still at large.
So I want to take people’s (and my) mind off things and write something light-hearted instead. If you want to hear me continue on and on and on about this tradgedy even though I have for the past 4-5 entries, well, I’m sorry, but I want to write about something more cheerful.

I don’t think people should attack Beverly for not posting about it. People deal with things their own way, and obviously we are all hurt, confused and very very sensitive right now. I know some people in my school that had to make a joke out of the whole thing, in order to deal with their shock. That is not my way of dealing with it however and I was outraged at first, but later a girl broke down because she just couldn’t take it anymore. I know many people who don’t want to even turn on the TV right now, because they are tired and sick of hearing about it over and over again. I just think we should respect other people’s opinions, the last thing we need is more drama than we already have on our hands.
